Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art born in the sixteenth century which has its roots in the methods of combat and dances of the African peoples of the time of slavery in Brazil. It differs from other martial arts by its playful side and often acrobatic. By practicing Capoeira, you learn the rules of etiquette . You also learn to sing (traditional songs ) and play instruments such as the " berimau " and " pandeiro " ( traditional instruments, percussion) . Capoeira also allows the control of emotions, stimulates observation and defense, decreases aggression and violence. Recommended to all, especially Capoeira helps the development of children and youth.
